You can find the Champion Eyes Non Profit After School Karate Program currently working with five elementary schools in Oceanside: Garrison, Ivey Ranch, McAuliffe, Nichols, and South Oceanside, as well as Calavera Hills in Carlsbad. Some of the many benefits of our martial arts program include: increased focus, longer attention span, discipline, self confidence, self esteem, conflict resolution skills, increased strength, balance, and flexibility. Our instructors emphasize the importance of self-discipline which is defined at Champion Eyes as “Doing what is right” whether the kids are at home, in school, or in karate class this phrase is encouraged to positively guide the students through everyday life.
Parents and teachers have noticed the positive results in the children’s behavior. We often hear progress reports to include statements such as: increased focus, attention span improved, increased self confidence and self esteem, shows leadership, and working well with peers. Our instructors are happy to work with parents and teachers to help the children reach their potential.
